Getting here is easier than you think!

Varingskollen is in the idyllic Hakadal, only 30 minutes from central Oslo. The train from Oslo stops right by the entrance to the park and runs regularly until after closing time.

Going by train to Varingskollen

Take NSB Gjøvikbanen from Oslo Sentralbanestasjon to Varingskollen stasjon.
Train route: Skøyen – Oslo S/Hakadal – Jaren – Gjøvik. Get off at Varingskollen stasjon, which is only 50m from the slopes.

By car

Take National Route 4 towards Gjøvik from Oslo. Drive through Nittedal to Døli. Follow the signs from the main road to the ski area. The area is on the left hand side when you approach from the south and Oslo. It is about 30km from central Oslo.

Think about the environment and avoid parking anxiety, take public transport whenever convenient.
